Normally, I start my bio with my “work” credentials, but for this journey my title is Breast Cancer Fighter, Blogger and SURTHRIVOR!
I started this blog when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was shocked when I was told I had cancer and had to undergo a mastectomy. The blog was a way for me to organize my thoughts, express my feelings and to keep my family and friends up to speed with what was happening. My posts are very honest and yes, sometimes hard to read. But they are also funny and full of positivity.
This blog has taken on a life of its own. I now have millions of readers in 146 countries. I am shocked and inspired by all the people who read and comment on my journey. Cancer touches so many lives in so many ways. Thank you all for your encouragement and joining me on this journey.
